The aim of the NAVC is to provide Edmonton and Area Youth an opportunity to play competitive volleyball and to prepare them for competition by offering a quality volleyball program. Our athletes find their skill development an asset when trying out for their junior and high school teams.

Operating since 1984, the club emphasizes the development, support and encouragement of its athletes and coaches. We are a registered non-profit organization that consists of almost 200 junior and senior high school-aged athletes, certified and quality coaches, plus parents and volleyball enthusiasts who are responsible for the administration and organization of the Club. Laurie Eisler, coach of the U of A  Panda volleyball team,  and Terry Danyluk, coach of the U of A Bears volleyball team serve as technical advisors to the Club's coaches and parent executive.
