All tryout schedules are subject to change without notice, so please check back often.
In the event of inclement weather, please check the tryout schedule prior to your scheduled tryout as it may be cancelled upon short notice. Please check out the NAVC Teams page for information regarding those athletes that have either re-signed or pre-signed with NAVC and the number of open roster spots available on each team.
2020/2021 NAVC Griffins Tryouts Update
In response to the updated Covid-19 restrictions announced on November 24, 2020, all NAVC tryouts have been postponed until further notice. We will update our website and Instagram account as we receive more information from Volleyball Alberta. Please check back for these important updates!

NAVC 2020/2021 CLUB TRYOUT PROCESS
Currently, NAVC will ONLY be hosting open tryouts for the following teams:
- 13U Men
- 17U Men
- 18U Men
- 13U Women
For the 2020/2021 club season, there will be no charge to attend an NAVC tryout.
IN ORDER TO ATTEND AN NAVC TRYOUT
ALL ATHLETES MUST REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE NAVC TRYOUTS USING THE TRYOUT REGISTRATION LINK TO THE RIGHT
NO DROP-INS WILL BE ALLOWED - NO EXCEPTIONS
More information will be forthcoming for the 14U-18U teams regarding the potential of a tryout for those teams.
TRYOUT SCHEDULES POSTED ON THE TRYOUT SCHEDULE PAGE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE SO PLEASE CHECK REGULARLY FOR ANY LOCATION OR TIME CHANGES
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID 19 Protocols and in order to maintain physical distancing while taking part in an NAVC tryout, you will be able to choose a tryout group time when registering for tryouts. Should that group be full, you will need to choose one of the other remaining times still available. Each tryout group will be assigned a specific court & time in order to maintain the appropriate COVID-19 protocols.
THERE ARE NO SPECTATORS/PARENTS ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE VENUES TO WATCH TRYOUTS.
One parent/legal guardian may escort their child to/from the court but must leave immediately. There is no loitering or visiting allowed inside any of the venues as per Covid restrictions.
