My decision for choosing to assistant coach this year is because of my love of the game.  I have played since I was 13, attended many camps, spent two years in the provincial program, have had the privilege of having private coaching, and have been recruited to play at Vancouver Island University, where I most recently assisted with a boys camp ranging in ages 12 – 17.  I have assisted with a number of different teams, from junior high girls to the U17 boys.  I have an understanding of the sport which I believe I will be able to transfer to the athletes we work with.  My knowledge of sports spans from soccer to football, yoga, basketball, and golf.  My philosophy is to take every opportunity you have to make yourself better than the day before, and put yourself in the best position possible for the next. I look forward to the opportunity to work with the U15 athletes.
