Sandra Veikle B·Assistant Coach

Bio Sandra Veikle is currently the Manager of League Operations at the Edmonton Sport and Social Club. However, when Sandra isn't working you can often find her on the volleyball court. Sandra hails from Cut Knife Saskatchewan where she grew up playing volleyball and multiple other sports at a young age. With an early passion for volleyball in particular she progressed into playing high school, club, and provincial team volleyball. From high school Sandra moved to Edmonton and played varsity volleyball for her first two years at The Kings University College. During Sandra's time at Kings she won the title of ACAC's Overall Dig Leader in 2009. Upon completing her second year Sandra then transferred out to British Columbia and played at Vancouver Island University (better known as VIU) for her last 3 years. During Sandra's time at VIU she won 3 Provincial BCCAA titles finishing with a Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal. In addition to the Provincial titles, she also won a National CCAA Silver and a National CCAA Gold Medal. In addition to Sandra's athletic accomplishments at VIU she also received a degree in Sport Health and Physical Education with Academic Excellence. Sandra also received a President's Scholarship and was an Honourary member of the Dean's List. Upon completing her degree Sandra moved back to Edmonton and has been working and coaching since. Last year Sandra was the assistant coach for the NAVC’s U14 Green Bears Team. Sandra is currently working to complete her Level One certification.
